Heart of the Canyons Church is a Baptist church in Santa Clarita that functions as a full fledged modern example of Christian fellowship. SCV fellowship at Heart of the Canyons Church extends beyond the regular Sunday services and child and youth programs. It has planned outreach that addresses issues pertaining to each segment of the congregation. From counseling to dedicated fellowship programs that address the need adults, family, youth and children. SCV fellowship at Heart of the Canyons Church does all that and more. The staff, leaders and members are dedicated to serve true Christian spirit to uplift not only the local congregation but also reach out to other believers and followers of Christ, the entire Community of Santa Clarita Valley and mission throughout the world.

Fellowship and outreach activities are designed to appeal to families, youth and children, and include opportunities for fellowship special events for women and men. Heart of the Canyons Church in Santa Clarita Valley has taken on the responsibility to address issues of all kinds that are pertinent to nurture and maintain fulfilling friendships and develop moral and spiritual character as followers of Jesus Christ.  Heart of the Canyons Church’s members serve to impact the needs in the Santa Clarita Valley.  Among the many programs organized for the children, youth and adults and even the seniors in the congregation at Santa Clarita, there are special events that enable the youth and young adults to lead and address the need to prepare for life’s many challenges.

From active Bible Study groups to retreats, special events and missionary activities extending to children and youth, the church is well equipped to handle the 21st century challenges that present themselves to the Baptist church and to the SCV Community. The church and all of its activities are designed around both nuclear and blended families and their special needs. By addressing issues of daily life the church functions not only as a place to fellowship on Sundays, it is recognized even beyond the community as a uniting body that strives to meet the needs of the SCV Community. The role of the SCV fellowship at Heart of the Canyons Church is primarily “seeker sensitive” and welcomes people of all backgrounds who want to learn about knowing and loving Jesus and loving and serving others. Heart of the Canyons Church demonstrates Christ’s love not only to SCV but to people in all parts of the world.  Heart of the Canyons Church is a Santa Clarita member of the Southern Baptist Mission board and contributes to missions world wide church to extend Christ’s love in today’s challenging times.
