Heart of the Canyons Church is a Santa Clarita Fellowship. The SCV offices are located at 21816 Golden Triangle Road, Santa Clarita, California, 91350. This is a church where all people are welcomed. People who are distressed or are facing huge problems are helped to find solutions for life’s problems, struggles and challenges. They believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in Christian fellowship with other believers. They are people who are determined to live according to the word of the Lord. The Santa Clarita fellowship is led by Pastor Jim Ryan, and the church has elders, trustees and ministry directors and leaders.

Heart of the Canyon’s is a Purpose Driven model with the Bible as its foundation.  It has  an intentional emphasis on the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).

Jesus gave the Great Commandment when he was asked to identify the most important of God’s commands.

Jesus replied: ” ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matt. 22:37-40

The Lord Jesus Christ is their focus, be it in weekly corporate worship, daily prayer individually or in community small groups or fellowship. The Santa Clarita Fellowship is multi-ethnic because they believe that there is no place for differences of color or creed. The fellowship at Santa Clarita Heart of the Canyons Church lives to know and love Jesus and to love and serve others. The members of this fellowship give with an open heart, because they believe that what they have has been given to them by God and is meant for sharing.

The Bible Church Santa Clarita has created small groups that meet during the week for fellowship, sharing, accountability, Bible study and prayer. They have Men’s Ministries, Women’s Ministries, Refuge and Insight for youth and Kidz Quest for children.

On September 27th Heart of the Canyons Bible Church Santa Clarita is having a Fall Fair for “kids” of all ages.  Free food, games and a magic show with a Magic Castle magician.  Fun for every Santa Clarita family. This is an outreach event for Santa Clarita fellowship at LaMesa Junior High, from 12:30 to 4:30.

Arise is another outreach event organized by the Santa Clarita fellowship.  It’s October 10th from 12:30 to 4:00 at LaMesa Junior High.  There will be a dodge ball tournament and a free concert.  This is also an outreach event for those seeking good, clean SCV fellowship and fun.

The church is dedicated and committed to ensuring all the activities taken on by the Santa Clarita fellowship attains the goals of the Purpose-Driven church.  Santa Clarita fellowship ensures a Christ-like  service and commitment and has witnessed the growth of the church through a number of trying times.

Today reaching out to people across geographical boundaries, the fellowship has lived up to the true Christian tradition of ‘live by what you preach.’  The church has really stretched beyond to reach out to every segment of the Santa Clarita fellowship and in time has become a body associated with moral strength and comfort.
