Canyon Country, Newhall, Saugus and Valencia were small independent communities that were incorporated to form Santa Clarita in 1987. However, early man settled in this area 25,000 to 18,000 years ago. The Atavism people arrived at the Christian Church Santa Clarita region in 450 AD. Today, it is the 4th largest city in Los Angeles County, California.

The Bible Church Santa Clarita has small groups that meet during the week for fellowship, sharing, accountability, Bible study and prayer. They have Men’s Ministries, Women’s Ministries, Refuge and Insight for youth and Kidz Quest for children.

On September 27th Heart of the Canyons Bible Church Santa Clarita is having a Fall Fair for “kids” of all ages.  Free food, games and a magic show with a Magic Castle magician.  Fun for every Santa Clarita family. This is an outreach event for Santa Clarita fellowship at LaMesa Junior High, from 12:30 to 4:30.

Arise is another outreach event organized by the Santa Clarita Christian Churches.  It’s October 10th from 12:30 to 4:00 at LaMesa Junior High.  There will be a dodge ball tournament and a free concert.  This is also an outreach event for those seeking good, clean SCV fellowship and fun.

The Christian Church in Santa Clarita is very effective as it has something for the whole family, besides, of course, the regular Church service. The family that prays together stays together.

There are children’s ministries, Sunday School for children, youth fellowship groups, women’s fellowship programs, and men’s fellowship programs at the Christian Church Santa Clarita.

Heart of the Canyons Church, the Santa Clarita Baptist Church  organizes Ladies’ daytime Bible Study groups and Ladies’ evening Bible Study groups. Men’s and Women’s retreats are planned for fellowship, fun and Bible Study. Very often a Church fulfills a great need to care and be cared for like that of the Christian Church Santa Clarita.  Sometimes people start coming to church after a natural disaster when people have groped to understand the fragility of life. When small families get together to pray, they form a Church. Worshiping God through music is a strong tradition in the Christian Church in Santa Clarita.
