Heart of the Canyons Church is a Santa Clarita Fellowship. The SCV offices are located at 21816 Golden Triangle Road, Santa Clarita, California, 91350. This is a church where all people are welcomed. During this difficult economy, the church believes that God has control over all things and “…God causes all things to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28 NLT)   They believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in Christian fellowship with other believers. They are people who are determined to live according to the word of the Lord.  Los Angeles Churches of which Heart of the Canyons is one, is led by Pastor Jim Ryan, the church has elders, trustees and ministry directors and leaders.

Heart of the Canyon’s is a Purpose Driven model with the Bible as its foundation.  It has  an intentional emphasis on the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).

Jesus gave the Great Commandment when he was asked to identify the most important of God’s commands.

Jesus replied: ” ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matt. 22:37-40

The Lord Jesus Christ is their focus, be it in weekly corporate worship, daily prayer individually or in community small groups or fellowship events. Heart of the Canyons Church, one of the Los Angeles Churches lives to know and love Jesus and to love and serve others. The members of this fellowship give with an open heart, because they believe that everything they have has been given to them by God and is meant for sharing.

Heart of the Canyons Church has  small groups that meet during the week for fellowship, sharing, accountability, Bible study and prayer. They have Men’s Ministries, Women’s Ministries, Refuge and Insight for youth and Kidz Quest for children. Heart of the Canyons, one of  Los Angeles Churches ensures a Christ-like  service and commitment. It reaches out to the community to sponsor food and blood drives and participates in many other community events.

April 4th, Heart of the Canyons Church, one of the Los Angeles Churches is celebrating Easter! There will be an Easter Egg Hunt for all children.  The services are at 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00.  The services will be uplifting with a choir and celebration of the Lord’s resurrection. Please be sure to join us for a day of fellowship and fun.

The church is dedicated and committed to ensuring all the activities taken on by Heart of the Canyons Church, one of  Los Angeles Churches attains the goals of the Purpose-Driven church.

Heart of the Canyons Church (HOTC) incorporates contemporary elements into the traditional form of worship. The music is both upbeat and worshipful and the sermons are biblical, are meaningful within current times and enhance spiritual growth.  At HOTC, one of  LA Churches this type of service occurs in both the main service and the youth service, so both adults and the youth grow in Jesus Christ.

Heart of the Canyons Church also has children’s ministries, with curriculum specifically designed for each developmental age group.   The curriculum provides children with a solid foundation to begin their spiritual growth.

Pre-marital Biblical counseling is available for those who are contemplating marriage at the LA Churches.  Biblical marital counseling is also available.  HOTC can give referrals to those who require more extensive counseling.

HOTC also has  out-reach events that involve the local community including blood drives, youth concerts  and fairs with food and children’s games.  HOTC also participates in Santa Clarita’s Day for Kids and Relay for life. ShareLife is HOTC’s own outreach event that involves a food drive for Help the Children and a blood drive for Children’s Hospital. These activities help the church build stronger bonds with the Community.

Currently HOTC’s Dominican Republic Missions Team is hosting a Date Night on February 13th. They will provide childcare in return for a donation to fund their missions trip this summer to the Dominican Republic. This with help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ world-wide.

According to the the gospel, Christians at the LA Churches believe that Jesus came to earth as a man, was crucified on a cross, was buried and rose again. Those who believe in him can have everlasting life.  They believe that Jesus Christ alone justifies the faith that they have for Him. Because of their powerful faith in Jesus, Christian people are saved by His loving grace.
